Costs: Average fee of £3,500.00 (plus VAT at 20%).

Who Will Carry Out the Work?
- Director & Associate Solicitor assisted by Assistant Solicitor & Paralegal.
- All work is supervised by a Director, who retains ultimate responsibility and conduct of matters.
Hourly Rates:
- Director: £260 – £360 plus VAT at 20%
- Associate Solicitor: £180-£250 plus VAT at 20%
- Assistant Solicitor: £150 – £180 plus VAT at 20%
- Trainee Solicitor: £120-£150 plus VAT at 20%
- Paralegal/Caseworker: £100 – £150 plus VAT at 20%

Factors Affecting the Fixed Fee:
- The amount of supporting evidence to be considered
- Language(s) you speak
- Whether it is a straightforward guilty plea
- Unforeseen complexities
Services Included in the Cost:
- 2 hours initial attendance to take instructions on what happened
- Considering initial disclosure and any other evidence, and providing advice
- Providing advice on likely sentence
- Detailing the key issues
- If relevant, meeting with you before your first hearing at the Magistrates Court
- Explaining the court procedure and sentencing options available
- Conducting further preparatory work, obtaining additional instructions if necessary, and addressing any follow-up queries
- Attendance and representation at the first hearing at the Magistrates Court
- Discussing the outcome of the hearing with you
The Costs Do Not Include:
- Instruction of any expert witnesses
- Taking/preparing statements from any witnesses (depending on the complexity of your case)
- Advice and assistance regarding a special reasons hearing
- The cost of a specialist barrister to attend court on your behalf
- Fees for attendance and/or preparation for any further hearings following the initial hearing (Approx. £600.00 plus VAT per hearing)
- If relevant, advice on any appeal. Separate fees can be agreed for:
- Dealing with any appeal
- Drafting grounds of appeal
- Fully preparing any appeal
We will inform you at the earliest opportunity and before any such fees are incurred if any of these are applicable.

We cannot provide a specific timescale for when your hearing will take place, as this depends on the court listings.
