WILLS

Making aWill

Your Will and Testament (Will) represents your wishes. That is, what you will like to happen to your assets (estate) and in most cases, your mortal remains (whether you wish to be buried or cremated, and where).

Other things you need to know:

  1. You need at least one Executor, but two or more is better.
  2. On your death your Executors/Trustees would have the power to deal with probate; administer your estate according to your wishes as expressed in your Will; pay inheritance tax, funeral expenses and debts, etc, as applicable.
  3. You must sign your Will in the presence of two witnesses who must be present in the same place, at the same time, and must witness each other sign in front of you, for the Will to be valid.
  4. We do not provide Will storage facility, so you must collect your original signed/witnessed Will for your safekeeping.

Our Fees

We charge a fixed fee of £270 (plus VAT) for the making of each Will. If a couple is making a mirror Will, we may give a small discount.

We provide Home, Care Home and Hospital visits for an additional fee of £150 plus VAT for each three-mile radius distance, per Solicitors. Each visit must be attended by at least two Solicitors.
